A special insert entitled "Summer 2014" which will be published as part of the White Eagle's May 16, 2014 edition will be circulated with all local editions of the newspaper as well as Chicago. It is the first time in the company's history that a publication will be circulated in the windy city, home to the largest Polish American community in the US. The insert will feature content related to Polish themed events in across the US as well as travel to Poland. "We have a number of companies in the travel sector in Poland who advertise with us on a regular basis and having a presence in Chicago with this special product published ahead of the busy summer travel season will greatly enhance our offer overseas," said Darek Barcikowski, publisher of the White Eagle.

Special Edition for New Britain’s Little Poland Festival

Over 20,000 visitors are expected to attend this year's Little Poland Festival in New Britain, Connecticut, which boasts the highest concentration of Polish Americans in the state. The Festival takes place onSunday, April 27 and coincides with the canonization of the Polish pope John Paul II. The special bilingual festival edition of the White Eagle, which will be passed out to visitors free of charge, will include a history of the Polish community in New Britain, a local Polish American guide, a list of festival vendors along Broad Street, which will be closed to automobile traffic for the day, and an entertainment schedule.

White Eagle Partners With Three Major Events

The White Eagle has partnered with the organizers of the Little Poland Festival and Oktoberfest, both in New Britain, Connecticut to become an official media sponsor of the two events. The Little Poland Festival takes place on April 27, while the three day Oktoberfest is scheduled for mid-September. A similar agreement was reached with the organizers of the Kielbasa Festival in Chicopee, Massachusetts, the kielbasa capital of the world, which takes place at the end of May. All three events are expected to draw tens of thousands of visitors. "These partnerships allow us not only to reciprocally promote our publications and events but allow us to deliver great visibility to our clients and advertisers," said Marcin Bolec, editor-in-chief of the White Eagle.
